The Apocalypse of the Four Horsemen

Too much drama for your mama!!

The gloves came off last night and it's getting nasty on the island.

Alex, Ed & Mookie were played for fools, exposing the idol without real reason!

Dear Stacy, we all hate you. Bye

Yao is no longer a player in this game, he is a force of nature.

Any trust that anyone thought they had, gone. At this point, any survivor on the island who thinks he/she has a solid alliance with anyone, is an idiot. Players will twist and turn in the breeze to the very last.

And really, isn't that why we watch?

Best line from 4/26/07:

Earl: "I am getting physical. It's about the placement of the balls."

BWahahahahahahahahahahahaha.............

ok so here are my thoughts on mookie...see ya later chump! thats all that needs to be said about him, mediocre player at best, poor strategist, and a whiny, moaning bitch boy at challenges (although we only saw that last night).

and by the way mook, havent you seen the show before? when you are part of an alliance that has only 2 people left, it is customary at tribal council to vote for each other, thus making the people picking you off believe you are on board with them. using that thought process, though i doubt it was there despite your claim of "always thinking", you vote for alex, he votes for you (which he did, you stupid ass) and then the chips fall where they may.

boo....i think that his injury at the challenge was more to his head then his knee, and the effects were felt with the brilliant concoction of splitting the vote. he truly is the puppetmaster this season has been needing. except that he is a bumbling fool who would have trouble scoring higher than broccoli on an IQ test. that may have put him on the outs with the powers that be, and alex's stay on the island may be extended a little longer so that boo can be sent packing.

now on to my final thought. i may be in the minority of this school of thought, but i seem to root for the villain of the season. up until now i really couldnt put my finger on who could be, but now after the phrase, "they will be lucky to be fed" combined with other bitchy moments and the complete disregard for human decency, my horse is stacy. i have always felt the villain never gets as far as he/she should, case in point jonathan from cook islands, johnny fairplay from pearl islands, rob cesternino in the amazon, just to name a few. these are 3 of the best players in survivor history in my opinion. i am not saying that stacy is in that caliber of player at all, but she could be the first femme fatale since jerri (who i dont find sexy at all). if she makes it to the final 3, it could be interesting finally a "bad" guy could win. unless if she gets voted out, and then i will have to take on that role in season 17.

here is my trivia question of the week....
with a total of 7 tribal buffs worn, who owns this obscure survivor record?

answer to come next blog, but i will need it in the form of a question-sorry, just a little rock and roll jeopardy humor there. hopefully it is not lost on our hosts.

Jeff - Dreamz is like a Walleye we used to pull out of the lake back in Wisconsin. He'll just keep floppin' around on the deck until he finally can't gasp for anymore air and he's voted out. He'll last as long as it's convenient, but I can't see him making the final at this point.

Posted by: Lance at April 26, 2007 10:08 PM

I just remembered what I wanted to ask you (or anyboby else).....

Since Dreamz was told to vote Mookie, but then the group went & voted Edgardo, do you think there is a chance that Dreamz might align with Mookie & Alex? He may feel like Earl ,Yao, & company betrayed him. Or, has Dreamz tried to play both sides of the fence so much that neither group can trust him and he'll be gone in a week or two?

I can't believe today's Thursday already & I haven't had a chance to read this page & talk about last week (or the last 15 minutes of last week).

I've only started to watch Survivor the last 3 seasons, & last week's episode was easily the best I've ever seen. From the moment Yao hung up the immunity idol and wished everybody good luck, that show kicked ass!

Dreamz is screwed 'cause Alex & Mookie can figure out he voted for the Mookster.

Alex lost his "consigliere" (sorry my spelling sucks) in Ed. The look on their cocky faces from all smiles to WTF was priceless (maybe CBS can get a Mastercard endorsment?)

From the preview, I hope the "wonder twins" don't steal Yao's immunity idol. I'm really disliking those 2. From my limited knowledge, I bet at least 1 of them makes it to the final 3 however.

Well, gotta go. Keep up the great work, laughs, and analysis.

Ryan, our rock. You're like the tides dude, steady and dependable. A sort of twisted, demented tide (your foreskin on her back!? - I don't even know what to think of that. I can't wait to make Sterling read that though, he may be scarred for life. So for that I say Kudos)

You're spot on though. It was pretty far out how she was completely shish-kabobed in the challenge and then was cool with everyone. Your own impending demise is probably a profound attitude adjustment. She just had the moment of clarity that makes you realize it's time to go along if you want to get along...GO TEAM!

Shane, welcome back, and a most serious drag about the delay on watching survivor! You bring up an excellent point about the Final 3. What's interesting though is whether or not this crew even realizes it. First off, the notion of a final 3 in general. Definitely changes the complexion of the game. Especially when you are trying to get yourself to the finals with a clear antagonist. Someone you are pretty sure the jury will just want to smack on arrival. It's almost as though it was your safest bet to side with the filthiest rat once you merged, work as an alliance and just hope you could appeal to their greed to get the two of you to the final vote.

Now though, with a final three, there's always a wild card. While you can usually find the heel pretty easily, it's a tough, tough bet trying to come up with a third.

Here's another wrinkle to it all. Do you suppose the Fiji crew even knows it's going to happen? After all, they were in Fiji filming this season while the rest of us were at home watching Cook Islands. Sure, Jeff hasn't made a big deal of the earlier jury members this time like he did last time, but that would make for dull TV. I suspect this crew doesn't even know there is a shot at a final of 3, so we'll probably still see the strategizing; maybe Earl sticking with Yau and then...BLAMO! here's comes your third.

(Reader beware though, my memory is not what it used to be - fried too many connections. As such, maybe these clowns do know it will be a final three - you guys can correct me if I'm wrong)

Word!

Hi guys...its been a while since I caught one of your podcasts, but after this weeks episode (which I had to download being that down under in Australia our local network has decided to postpone showing this season), I just had to get more info...

I wanted to raise something with you guys which I am not sure has been touched upon or realised. The whole "Final 3" change to Survivor...in more ways than one, it has changed the future outcomes of all future seasons. With the final 3, there is no such thing as a winning floating strategy...or the Sandra Diaz-Twine. Think about the Cook Islands final 3, Becky got almost totally overlooked. If you havent played a hard core game in one way or another, there will be someone sitting next to you who has. There are no opportunities at the final 3 to oust the stronger player. Think about the results of past seasons if the 3rd place getter actually made the final 3 in its current format.
Season 1 - Could Rudy have won? maybe.
Season 2 - Probably still would have been a toss up between Colby and Tina.
Season 3 - Lex may have stolen it, he certainly deserved it more than the other two.
Season 4 - Kathy would have been a shoe-in!
Season 5 - I think that was all Brian...although Clay was massively under-rated!
Season 6 - Rob C would have won unanimously!
Season 7 - Without knowing Jon had told the grandma lie, he might have been able to pull it off, it could have been close at least.
Season 8 - Still Amber or Rob.
Season 9 - Maybe Scout. She was less hated than the other two.
Season 10 - Ian could have stolen it.
Season 11 - Rafe or Danni...in a close one.
Season 12 - Terry may have smashed Aras in half.

Basically, some of the weakest winners of the past, who flew by playing under the radar and eliminating the more deserving player in that last tribal council, certainly Jenna M, Vecepia, Danni and Sandra would have been in trouble.

Would love to hear your thoughts on that...and in particular...how it pretty much means you can rule out half of Fiji's cast from being able to win. Has Stacy, Cassandra, Boo and Dreamz done enough to beat out Alex, Yau or Earl?

i figure i will leave the answers to the questions i posed on last weeks show blog.

big tom spelled jennas name "genna", i guess that boot of virginia school system really has all the kinks ironed out.

as for the first person to give up immunity at tribal council...another jenna, morasca in the amazon season. she did it to save heidi with 6 people left, and then she and heidi along with rob and matt banded together to vote out the first deaf survivor, christie.

cheers

So as much as Stacy was dumped on at the reward challenge, I have to say that she took it pretty well. She didnt even complain about it afterward, which is very much unlike previous contestants (Alicia on all stars, Courtney on exile island, to name a few). I think some doctors must have grafted my foreskin onto her back, her skin is so thick. I am also coming around to her as a player in this game, I really like the way her idea of booting edgardo really sold dre out as far as him playing both sides. If she can pull boo along, like becky did with yul last season, she can get pretty far.

and now for my vote for person who doesnt belong in the game at this point...Cassandra. she is type of player who, if i was playing, i would cut her throat from ear to ear because, due to some brilliant editing by the producers, we havent seen her playing the game at all. those types of players piss me off more than the ones that decide to quit. last season it was casundra. cut the coasters is my new mantra, so when i get on the show, their ass is grass, sucka!

look forward to guesting on an upcoming show, and i will chime in later.

ps i hope i am not scaring away other people from posting. the way it looks on the blog is that no one else is listening. come on people, let the buffs off crew know they are heard!
