The Wind Beneath My Wings

And so another falls to the cruel fate that is Survivor: Cook Islands. Jessica/Flicka has packed her knee socks and moved on from the Cook Islands. Older, wiser, and ready to hit the roller circuit once again, her quest for a million is done.

Interesting challenge choices this week. Nate, by virtue of the kidnapping and Aitu controlling his player rights, is kept out of the reward challenge. Brad, with his team already down one athlete, sits out the physical portion of the contest since he has a mind for puzzles. What? I think he has a mind for being chapped at not getting his way on the Christmas list of food. And yes, it is like Christmas this year with all the damn gifts of food these lightweights are getting.

Adam the eagle gets another night on exile island. This time, it gets all the more miserable as a storm hits our beloved little islands (and those can be pretty nasty). Hey Adam, apparently you were allowed to bring the spring line with you as a wardrobe this year, how about a shirt, sport. The chics may dig it and all, but you're flying solo on the island, numb nuts.

Never fear, underdog is here as Raro actually wins an immunity challenge this week.

Looky, looky, we're all tied up at six a side.

Jonathan is so weak that my children ages 8 and 10 were actually embarrassed for him. He was so darn proud of catching the 22 fish in two days. He kept bringing it up and smiling like a kid who just got praised by his kindergarten teacher for doing a great job on coloring a worksheet. He thinks that he is it. The only reason he will make it to the final two is that anyone running against him will most assuredly win. Jonathan has rubbed everyone the wrong way.

Is it me or is Nate the most wannabe black guy, who actually is a black guy, that ever graced the small-screen? This is why, ultimately, he's not going to make it to the final 3. He may seem like he's an alpha dog, but he's actually so insecure about his identity that ultimately he'll do whatever the true alpha dog (Parvati) tells him to.

Great show again gang. One thing I noticed is that Jeff kept coaching Poverty along as if he's lined her up as his next Danni. Telling her tribe to climb the rope ladder as if they were too good to waste time standing around, trying to remember what to do as the other tribe caught up. The way he ushered the losers off, it seemed a little swept-under-the-rug to me. Maybe not. Exile Island has a shelter? Why not break off part of the ship, and make a door? Shirtless wonder.

Good episode..some great dialogue..As you mentioned the eagle and turkey play was choice, but I thought Nate's off the cuff comment directed at Brad for being a puzzletteer. and not a burly man was better....something like "puzzle boy didn't want to get wet pissed me off, a real "nancy" boy! Ouch... So Gay... The peanut butter kiss was special between Flicka and Candice .. I didn't get how the tribe agreed Jonathan is not trustworthy, yet teamed up on Jessica, unanimously voting her off the island. Oh well , guess I'll just go play with my mobile Survivor trading cards for a while, but if you get a chance, Flicka interview was pretty good on Survivor website...Buffsoff you all.....
