Sekou OUT! And We'll See You in Spirit Land

Survivor: Cook Islands is on! They're off the boat and they've stormed the beaches. The Tribes are set; Taki, Puka, Raro, Hiki. Buffs are on and so's the game.

Too bad Sekou's on his way home. He knew his team had a lot of spirit - they just didn't seem to have a lot of skill this week. At least now they got their flint and there is one less mouth to feed.

I think the free range chickens are happy about that too. (Although I wish they'd have caught the bastards before they left the islands, because I can't stand hearing them at the crack of dawn!! I haven't got enough Kesslers left to help me sleep through that.)

With Week 1 down we know thievery is going to happen, spooning is going to happen, team Puka better have a bonfire raging by next week and team Tiki living way, WAY, under the radar.

Clear the bad winds (but you might want something for the wicked bruise between your eyes) and let's keep this sumbitch rolling.

Wonderful, great, a woman said something and the women didn't let the men on the team take her down. way to go ladies, you finally got some backbone and proved what women can do on the Survivor show when they put their heads together and stick together no matter what. remember you don't always have to like one another to be strong but respect each other when it will benefit the female gender on your team. Go Women go Women see what sticking together can do. Did you see JP's face! tonight. He was surprised by the womenfolk!!! women can do it, and i have always known it. I wish i was a contestant on survivor and i wish i coild scout america for female team mates. boy i sure do dream big don;t i lol!!!next week all women need to remember what they are capable of by banding together. come on survivor call me now. i still have time for surprise last minute dream to come true. come on America teke, Va.ll survivor show to fly me out for show now now now!!! To me Cook Islands doesn't seem as primitive as the first year of Survivor. Sharks to eat that
alot of food for the survivors. Spearing them
is good. Are baby sharks dangerous yet.

You've tried out 13 times? I don't even know where to find a casting call. How do you find out about those? I think it would be great to be on the show. I'm sure I'm too boring, but it would still be cool to experience it.
I agree. there was a lot of hype placed on the cultural aspect of the show, and it looks like when it comes right down to it, the really driving force of the show will be the same thing it has always been winning the million. Is is amazing that they have been able to keep the show fresh after this many seasons. I tip my hat to the producers.

Hey Survivor world I told you that the brilliant Mark Burnett would put out a Survivor show worth watching.I am a person who hs tried out for the survivor show 13 times. I have never been blessed with evan an interview. Woe is me is not going to get me interview. with all that being said i still can;t say anything bad about Mark Burnett or his staff. they work long hours coming up with the best show possible. I hope one day i will earn their respect and earn an interview myself for shows to come.all this fuss over cultures and teams was ridiculous. I told you that the contestants would just vote people off for the point of getting themselves to the fianl two to win the million dollars. for every show athat Mark Burnett has produced their have been thousands upon thousands of different opinions and reactions. reactions this season are high. relax and enjoy the show as i do while i continue to dream.
